Hi, I’m Karem!
I’m excited to be on the IT Solutions team at TechSystems.
I bring to the team cybersecurity expertise!
My passion for technology started when I was 14 and I wanted to build my first PC. The passion for technology stayed with me throughout the years.
I completed my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University, NJ.
I also completed a master’s degree in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance from WGU (Western Governors University).
I hold professional certifications with CompTIA A+, Sec+, CySa+, Pentest+, ISC2 CC, as well as Cybersecurity certifications from Rutgers University.
I have professional experience as a substitute teacher at the university I attended, and in electronics retail.
The work environment at TechSystems is great and I love the technical challenges. We are on a continual learning curve among a team of IT professionals. I enjoy the family feel within the company.

How many languages can you speak?
- My first language is Arabic. I was born in New Jersey, but I grew up in Egypt. My second language is English! I also studied French and Spanish but forgot most of it.
You're already awesome, but what is one skill you would like to improve on?
- I would like to improve my social skills. I am a bit shy and hesitant to give my input or ideas.
